If We Could Turn Back Time!

Most ALL people today (at least in the USA) absolutely disagree with slavery, racism, discrimination, and lynching, and if possible, would turn back the hands of time to prevent and stop it all.

The Chicago Tribune reports as of October 21, 2019, the date Congressman Bobby Rush tweeted about President Trump and his use of the word lynching, there were 2,259 shootings in Chicago (since January 1, 2019). The Chicago Sun-Times actually tracks homicides that take place within Chicago city limits. It's not a good read, but you can view it here.

Since it is impossible to prevent unjust deaths in the past, Congressman Rush should be spending his time preventing future unjust deaths in his district of Chicago.

Congressman Bobby Rush asked President Trump, "Do you know how many people who look like me have been lynched, since the inception of this country, by people who look like you.  (Oops... Bobby did not use a ? mark behind his question. Just an observation.)

President Trump should ask Bobby, "Bobby, do you know how many people that look like you were shot by people that look like you last night in Chicago? Work on today's and tomorrow's problems that will save lives NOW!"

We realize shootings have decreased in 2019, but the killing is still out of control. Congressman Rush, please do something about it. Stop the unjust deaths in your district today!
